This 9-week program is designed for secondary and post-secondary youth in special education, focusing on building essential life skills to foster successful transitions into independent living and career readiness. Integrating practical social, emotional, and daily living competencies with academic and behavioral supports, this curriculum is aligned with RTI tiers and PBIS frameworks. It offers targeted interventions to enhance communication, problem-solving, emotional management, self-advocacy, and financial literacy, preparing learners for workforce participation and responsible daily living. The program culminates in a project-based assessment demonstrating mastery of these vital skills.
